Solid wood construction.
Platform base. 17 hardwood slats 2 1/2" wide by 3/4" thick, spaced 2" apart, separated by wood spacers. Distance measurement is consistent with most mattress warranty standards. An additional center rail runs head to toe for added support.
Metal hardware to secure rails to bed posts.
Conversion varnish finish.
Cushion: 2" foam with dacron wrapping inside upholstery.
